GROUND FLOOR CONDO. Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances. Dining Seats 6, 2 showers. The living/dining area is bright with beautiful furniture. King size bed in the master bedroom. 1 twin bed and 1 queen in the second bedroom. Bathrooms off each bedroom. The living room and both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs with DVD players. WI-Fi included. Full-sized washer and dryer in the condo. Screened in patio.

  We had 2 memorable trips to Discovery Point Club in the late 1980s with our young children and another family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it then so we decided to come back in 2022, this time with our 3 grown children and significant others plus 3 young grandchildren. It was even better this time! We stayed in Unit's 29 and 30, next door to each other on the ground floor, close to the pool and with gorgeous views of the sea. Both units were clean and in good condition.Unit 30 was on 1 end of its building so it had more windows. We made good use of the screened-in waterside porch for the great views but also for drying swim suits and for keep our diving/snorkeling equipment, sunscreens, etc. Discovery Point Club was a short walk down the beach from the Cemetery area, where the sea had good coral for snorkeling. The manager was hugely helpful to us on arrival in suggesting activities, restaurants, dive companies, etc., and so patient with our questions during the week. The gentleman who did much of the daily maintenance of the pool and grounds was so friendly. He even took a machete to the tops of 2 coconuts and stuck straws into them for the two older children to taste! They were charmed by him. We did a really fun 3 hour trip with Capt. Marvins company. Eight of us went by boat with about 10 other tourists and the boat's great crew to Stingray City sandbar, a healthy area of reef for snorkeling called the Garden, and to Starfish Point. The adults enjoyed it as much as the 8 11/2 yr old and the almost 4 yr. old did. We ate a very good seafood dinner at the Cracked Conch and we were comfortable there with the children.I would definitely like to return again and would highly recommend Discovery Point Club to others.
